I have a Humax 9300 PVR.
I have a new TV with a Freeview HD tuner.
If I connect the aerial directly into the TV all is well, I get the channels etc.
If I connect the aerial to the Humax and then use a scart to connect to the TV, I can see material from the Humax on the TV.
But if the PVR is on standby, the TV claims that it’s getting “No Signal” and I can’t watch any ordinary, real time TV.
What am I doing wrong? I’m not a techy – so simple explanations please!

Switch off power saving in standby:
Menu, Preferences, Misc Settings, item 6 Power Saving in Standby
You need to turn off power saving in standby. I don’t have a 9300 but it should be fairly obvious in the menus.

I’ve turned off the power saving on standby.
My TV is still claiming it’s not getting a signal with the PVR is on standby.
Any thoughts?

If you haven’t already got one, you will need a short loop of coax from the Humax aerial out (TV/VCR) to the TV aerial in.

I’ll give that a try. I wondered if I needed more wire!
