UPDATED MY 9200T SOFTWARE TODAY BUT THE LOADER VERSION HAS NOT UPDATED TO THE LATEST A.4.09, STILL GOT A4.08, IS THIS THE NORM OR DO I NEED THE LATEST?
The loader is not updated with the OTA software. If you want to update the loader you must do it from a computer via the RS232 port. PLEASE switch capitals OFF, it looks like you’re SHOUTING.
ok thanks, is the LV important, is this why the EPG takes a long time to load up from standby.
I don’t know the advantages of the newer loader, have a look on the Humax support web site, bottom of the page. Is your loader the one that says STING on start-up?
Yes it does say STING on start up.

The newer loaders start a little quicker and fix a bug where if you have a masthead amplifier that is powered by the Humax, OTA software updates would fail.
Thanks for your replies folks,i don`t use amp thing and the box responds better to the remote,that was my main problem.Thanks again.
