Just bought a Humax 7500T PVR and it works very well except for the fact that some channels have the sound level normal and others nearly blow us out of the room when we change to that channel. Is there some way of getting all the channels set to the same volume level?

Not sure that we can help to be entirely honest. Believe the 7500T is for use in Australia.
We did have a similar problem in the UK with an inbalance between SD and HD channels/recordings, this was improved with a software update.
