    Hello Barry. Cannot select “installation” on my Humax PVR. I installed lasest OTA update & PVR was fine – switched on again this evening & very few channels, crackling, no guide. Cannot access installation to try anything. Help !

    Is it recording or playing? Wait until it stops and then do a manual tune.

    No it wasn’t playing or recording. I am unable to do a manual tune as I need to select installation in order to get to the option of doing a manual tune. Have switched unit off several times to no avail

    Even though the menu is ‘greyed out’ you should still be able to access it by pressing:

    Menu

    4

    then password
