Sorry for the second post within minutes, but is there any way you can tell if the HDR is actually recording? My old Sky+ box used to have a red light to confirm that recording was happening
There is a teenny-weeny active recording symbol top left of the display. No way I can make any of those symbols out unless I get right up close. I can just about make out the main channel / recording name and elapsed time from my normal viewing position.
If you press the “i” info button on the remote, channels recording are shown top left of screen.
OK, thanks. Slight pain as it’s nice to be able to glance at the box and check that it is recording if it’s something you particularly don’t want to miss, but hey ho
Well it does show you the channel(a) it is recording, so you know they are correct – an LED would not do that.
If you are watching something else where a recording starts it appears briefly on screen as well.
