At the risk of asking an embarrassing question, I cannot get the front port on my Foxsat-HDR to recognise any USB sticks. If I pop one in the rear port it comes up “USB device has been connected” but the same stick in the front port does not appear in the media menu. I have tried several sticks.
It’s slightly inconvenient for transferring files but completely blocks me from upgrading to Reydon’s bundle.
Any thoughts?

It’s not embarrassing at all. It’s completely perplexing
:Usual advice for oddball problems, try a factory reset. Make a note of your recording schedule first you will need to re-enter it and restore any changes made to default settings.
If that does not work it sounds as if it might be a hardware issue.
