ModeratorWelcome to the Forum

If your unit is in standby the next time the OTA is broadcast then it should update, or of course you can download the latest from Humax website and update via usb.
OTA dates are listed here, but none currently scheduled:
http://www.dtg.org.uk/industry/download_schedule.php
Latest Software for usb update can be downloaded from here:

or here:

ParticipantJust to add for the OTA to work the OP must have access to the HD mux. If not then usb update is needed.

not shore what you mean by HD mux,
You must be in a region that is currently receiving High Definition (HD) broadcasts; i.e. Post Digitial Switch Over (DSO).

Inactivehi its me again, when i get my HD FOX t2 up dated i like to get a hard drive so can record . would it nead would its own power supply or would a portable one work, can you recommend any THANKS,

ModeratorI have used both powered and unpowered successfully.
Western Digital Passport, and Seagate Freeagent, without power supplies.
Currently testing a Western Digital Elements 2TB powered drive.
Did have a Seagate Freeagent GoFlex powered 1TB connected for a while, that one tended to be noisy at times.
