As I only have the 320GB Foxsat HDR (I got a very good deal on it at the time) I would like to offload my bank of waiting-to-be-watched films to an external (1.5 /2 TB) hard drive. Are there any that anyone would recommend or are they all pretty much of a muchness and it is just a case of getting a good deal on one of the “usual suspect” makes?
Not strictly the answer are after as I use 500GB drives, but have had connected WD MyBook drives since the advent of the Foxsat with no problems encountered….
My HD T2 I have a Seagate Freeagent 1TB connected, and I find that noisy.
Actually I have an old 500GB Freecom drive so I will experiment with that to start with. May even suffice for my needs.
