hi from glasgow. I’m new to this.

Am I right in thinking that since I have upgraded my humax hd fox t2 to KZTFT1.02.20 UPGRADE it is now portal enabled and therefore can be connected to the internet via wi-fi connection (humax dongle). Can i use connecting hub since my humax only has one usb port and does it need to be mains powered. Sorry if this sounds a bit daft just want to be sure

    Welcome to the Forum :-)

Not a daft question at all.

I use a mains powered hub to connect the dongle and ext HDD, and it works very well. If you intend to use similar then I would recommend the same.

Thanks for the reply. While I’m being daft… does that mean that ince connected I have full access to the internet on tv via the humax box

You can’t (well not easily) as unlike the HDR FOX T2 copying content to usb does not remove the encyption.
