Welcome to the Forum Biggles

Are you interested in having my 9200 clock problem repair as a sticky although I think most clock boards will have been repaired by now using my DS thread.

ModeratorBy all means, any information like that is most welcome, and can be added to out FAQ’s as well.

I’ll try and sort it tomorrow, busy at the moment.

ParticipantThanks, nice to see you here. We could just copy the post from DS into the FAQ (with a credit of course) which is what I originally did on the old forum.

KeymasterIf it’s a long set of instructions and descriptions, we would rather have it as a wiki entry. Do you want to be an ‘author’ on the wiki?
EDIT: By the way, if you are new and wonder what we are trying to achieve here, then read this article: http://idratherbewriting.com/2010/11/24/forum-wiki-blog-workflow/
(I’ve put this link on the front page now.)

No don’t do that because the link to Hummy.org doesn’t work anymore. I’ve just edited my original file and will post it in the 9200 section, presumably Key Master can then decide where best to put it.

InactiveHi Big-les, why don’t you also post your excellent Manual Search instructions over here as well.
I’m not an admin or anything here, so hope I’m not out of turn suggesting this.
Rgds.

InactiveHi Les, Colin (credish) and I were talking about you a few months ago, I was asking if he’d seen you anywhere and we were wondering if you were ok, obviously and fortunately you are. You seemed to disappear from DS like you’d fell under a bus!

As for my Manual Search instructions I find it useful to be able to easily edit the file when need be so it’s probably best if I post it when needed.
Glad to see you’re still around.

Sorry, I meant the original post on DS (which I used for the old hummy FAQ) as I’m all too aware what happened with the posts to the old hummy site
but I see you’ve posted here already so it’s academic now.I’ll add it to the 9200 FAQ if it’s not already been done.
Edit: done

Hi Les, Yes it was a bit sudden, I got a contract which doesn’t leave me much time for TV viewing never mind forum posting. Investigating/testing some of the wackier stuff people come up with takes time, and I don’t like giving half-baked answers. I still lurk, and post very occasionally, but leave it all in the safe hands of you stalwarts.
Good to see you over here.
Rgds.

A good entry in the FAQ section pointing out the different problem displays, people have confused the —- display with the clock problem over on DS.
