ModeratorThere are two variants of the RM – F04 remote control as used with the HD and HDR T2 units. It might also be relevant to the RM-F01 as used on the Foxsat HDR, awaiting confirmation.
To check which variant you have remove the battery cover and look for a white label:
If label states – MDB 1.3 then 3 digit code.
If label states – ADB 1.0 then 4 digit code.

InactiveBarry,
I have a HD-FOX T2 and a HDR-FOX T2, both come with the RM-F04 remote control.
Both of them have the “ADB 1.0” label in the battery compartment.
The one supplied with the HD-FOX T2 uses 4 digit codes.
The one supplied with the HDR-FOX T2 uses 3 digit codes.

ParticipantHi Brian,
There were a small number of remotes that were shipped as ADB 1.0 that use 3 digit codes, to help identify what was what, the remotes were relablled to MDB 1.3.
Thanks

To see the remote variant you need to remove the battery cover and then remove the batteries and the white lable lurkes there.

InactiveThis topic was a great help to me thanks, I have just bought a replacement RM-F01, and I was struggling to get it to control the TV. Turns out the old remote was 4 digit, and the replacement was 3 digit. All sorted now, great!

Thank you.
My version of the 4 digit codes is too large to upload, but I believe that the foxsat codes are almost identical

InactiveI too thought that the link in the first post wasn’t working as it came up with “Fail”, but I’ve now noticed that something was downloaded with a file ending with “pdf.part”. I just renamed by removing “.part” and it opens fine in my pdf reader. If you are using windows then you may have to change the Windows’ setting so it doesn’t hide the end of the file name.

For the 4 digit codes at least 1 of the links on hummy.tv still work.

For the 3 digit codes just go to the Humax support site. It has more than 1 version available of the list. There is the original 3 digit list which is in the appendix of the manuals for the HDR-FOX T2, HD-FOX T2, HDR-1800T/2000T, FVP-5000T, FVP-4000T, and two separate expanded lists available for download from the support pages for the HDR-2000T, FVP-4000T, DTR-T1010, DTR-T2000, HDR-1100S, HB-1000S, HB-1100S as well as being in an Appendix of the Aura manual.
Here are copies of the Humax support links for the expanded 3 digit code list that I spoteed. There may be others. They vary by the languages included and the instructions for two different styles of Humax remotes.
