InactivePotential.
You buy a new iphone and already the press are publicising the next, newest model.
But my humax foxsat pvr aleady has online capability with more streaming promised.
Anyone in any doubt that streamed content is the future need only look to the raft of smart Tv’s coming down the pipe to see that the future of content is online.
iplayer and boxoffice365 are just the beginning
With my humax the future is now.
So my favourite feature is the online potential.
Thanks for not making me go out and buy a new one humax.

InactiveI love my Humax because “Out of the box it just works.”
I did my research before i bought and nothing compares to the humax for price and functionality.
Sure it records HD telly and has iplayer but that’s not all it’s a media mega hub! Attached to my network it serves tv, music and photos etc. to the families PCs.
I can watch recorded programs on my phone in the bath via wifi.
I can send content to it from my phone apps and my laptops. I can play music from my phone on my surround sound system when i stream it through the box.
I can access it via FTP as well and it’s expandable via usb and network hard drives.
The last box I’ll need to buy for a long time.

InactiveI like the fact that the Humax user community freely give their time, expertise and efforts to make great products even better through forums like this!!

Inactive‘What do you like most about the Humax product you own?’
That’s easy, it simply just works exactly as it should!

InactiveWhat I like most about my HDR-FoxT2 is that not only is it a great HD PVR but I can also connect it to my home network and use it as a media player.

InactiveI have a Humax 9200T, which I have been very happy with. It has the ability to copy SD files to my laptop which is the main use I have for the machine, enabling me to catch up with missed programmes whilst away from home.
I bought a HD-T2 with an external drive and am also very happy with it, except for it’s inability to copy SD files unencrypted (without hacking), which to me is a major step backward from my 9200.
The HDR does not have this limitation, so when I win it, all my problems will be solved!

InactiveFoxsat HDR – I like its image quality and ease of use.

InactiveI have two Foxsat receivers. I take one away with us in our caravan so we watch the recordings and can pick up UK TV at home & in some parts of Europe. It means that we have full day out and then watch TV at our convenience at the end of the day, it’s great.
An additional benefit is that I avoid giving SKY a penny for the privilege of making HD recordings.
A HDR Fox T2 would make a good compliment to provide some channels that are not available via satellite.

InactiveI like the fact that even my Mum can use it – and doesn’t keep asking me “how do I…..”

InactiveThe Humax box outputs stunningly good pictures every time in HD without crashing or locking up like Sky boxes do. The forum is also a plus giving real answers that solve problems and not sarcastic or irrelevant answers that only stroke the ego of the poster.

InactiveIt just works… that doesn’t sound much but in the world of tech it is a big deal.
