InactiveOve the past few days when I try to access Youtube, it displays a re-direction message, and looks like it tries to display some kind of different YT screen, white background with empty boxes. Rest of the time it loads up the usual interface fine.
(HDR-1000S)

InactiveThanks. Yeah, those are the screens. Can take 5-6 attempts before it loads normally.

ParticipantTry transferring the youtube video from a mobile device. That seems to work 100% for me,

ParticipantJust tried on my HDR-1000S directly accessing YouTube via the Home button.
It worked just fine. Watched a few movie trailers.
How is your box connected – WiFi or network cable ?

InactiveMine is direct (network) cable.
That’s the thing, it’s hit & miss (Took 3 attempts this morning). Tried other services like Netflix, and they work fine.

InactiveI’m getting the same “you are being redirected to youtube.com” message then a white screen with empty boxes
Makes no difference if connection is wired or wireless,
Android smartphone is fine and smart TV (Hisense) are also OK

InactiveRedirection started early October, however it does load the YT app correctly about 20% of the time, perhaps less
When redirected there is zero functionality
Any suggestions welcome
Many thanks

InactiveAdmin note:
Thread will be moving to Broadcast, Internet, and Media sub forum shortly as problem is affecting more then just the HDR series
Will be ‘stuck’ to top of main page.

Same on my FVP-4000T, it all started last week around the same time I player stopped working on my machine. U tube has been hit and miss since then but today it won’t work at all.

InactiveHere too
This started around a week or so back, intitially I was able to get on after 2-3 attempts, but as of the past 24 hours, no access at all. I have tried casting from my smartphone (I believe this was suggested elsewhere on this thread) but had no luck there.
Interestingly, the current problem with YouTube access started around the same time that the BBC iPlayer became non operational and this has prompted me to consider whether this is a related problem. After all – Humax pulled out of the market for these boxes not long back, so have they put maintaining updates on a low priority?
