InactiveI have this problem with my 5000T today; first time i tried youtube since this time last week.
However, I am able to access youtube app via my Sony smart tv without redirect problem.
This suggest that the problem is with HUmax rather than Youtube

InactiveWe are also having the YouTube problem. It works fine on our other TV with the Fire stick, our kindles also. All other channels on the “On Demand” work OK, has to be a Humax problem with YouTube. Hope they fix it soon, it’s the channel we watch most.

Has anyone tried to take their box back to “Factory Reset”?
It will not make any difference at this time.
You need to use a different alternative source, like a smart Tv, a phone/mobile device with a HDMI output, or a a PC with HDMI, a a chromecast out or a firestick that does not rely on Youtube access via the Humax servers

We did a, restore to factory settings. Turned it all off and on again, checked everything in settings, etc, nothing changes. Just get it trying to connect with YouTube.com. There is a message saying something about visiting the app store. Would if I could locate it.

Ours is a smart TV, only it’s being surprisingly not smart. We don’t have or need smart phones. So, looks like a job for the firestick.

See my post above,
Please post what other kit you have that you can post here. Chances are you use youtube without using your Humax box,
