You are right those buttons changed the channels so I now appear to be on another radio station.
Now I need to know how I can get back to TV
I won’t touch the remote again until somebody can guide me thro it if poss
Thanks again
Doesn’t your remote have a TV/Radio button it (under the prog up/down) on the remote you get with a hdr FOX T2 ?

InactiveI don’t have an STB button James
No Graham my remote doesn’t have a TV/radio button.
I seem to remember I followed some weird procedure to get into radio, something to do with the arrows either side of OK button.
I repeat I have change the radio channels with the up and down buttons on the unit but the remote won’t actually change anything.
So either that means the remote is shot or the unit itself is faulty and not responding to the remote.

ModeratorNo you will have a PVR button, press this once it should light up.
You may see a icon of remote with PVR label displayed on TV.
I’ve an idea you have put your unit into radio mode via the list function, however pressing 1 should change it to BBC1 anyway.

InactiveYes Barry. That’s what happens when I press the PVR button – an icon with the PVR label..
And when I press the TV button next to it I see a similar symbol marked TV.
So the remote is working but they seem to be the only buttons which do work

ModeratorWhat happens if you press PVR, then try 1 for BBC1
and
Have you ever changed the remote code?

It’s because you’re pressing the TV button.
Press the PVR button. Do not press the TV button. Press 1 as Barry said.

InactiveGENIUS AWARD OF THE DAY GOES TO BARRY THE BEE!
Yes that worked. I’m back to BBC 1 and everything’s working.
And I’d already got all my warranties and Humax phone numbers out.
So I am very grateful and won’t dare to even try to find radio again.
The old system used to have a slide down remote with radio on it.
Things ain’t easier for 73 yr old non techie people like little old me.
But thank goodness you guys are out there.
I often wonder why – there must be better things to do than sit there waiting for screwballs like me to get in touch!
Thanks anyway.

ModeratorThat is what we are here for and are very grateful to our members who take the time and trouble to help.
I suspect you may have used the list function, pressed right for radio, and selected a station.
and
Don’t put yourself down, we were all novices at one time

InactiveHi I have got the Humax 2000T and to get the radio first press the list button underneath the power button. You will see the list of channels come up, look at the top of the screen and it will say TV, HDTV, Radio, FAV. Then go to the OK button circle then press the right arrow, it will then high light the top row, Press the right arrow again to high light Radio then press OK, then press the down arrow to select the channel you want then press OK. To go back to TV just do the same, except when you have high lighted the top row press the left hand arrow to high light TV then press OK, then press down arrow again to select a TV channel then press OK. Hope this helps.

InactiveI’m going to copy that out and give it a try Bill – when I’ve got over the trauma of this little lot.
Thanks for taking the trouble to document it for me.
