InactiveOh Dear
I’ve got no utube at all now. It just bombs out with a green screen and then the hummy reboots. The only thing I’ve noticed different is that the videos try to start in the “full screen” option where as before I had to page to it and then select it.I note that Humax have been informed, but it can’t be a hardware problem, cuz one minuet it works and then it doesn’t. It’s not confined to the HDR or the HD box. It’s not regional ,cuz I live in the West of Engand & it dosen’t seem to be the Filmware cuz I’ve upgraded mine. To cap it all utube works ok on a laptop or phone. What’s left??

InactiveMy HD-FOX-T2 is working fine on 1.02.20 for Youtube, iPlayer and Internet Radio.
The box’s history is that it has been changed to 1.02.27/28/29 but on all 3 occasions I have reverted back to 1.02.20 (due to the newest Audio Description bug).
I have never tried the additional portal apps or added other additional software.
Today is the first time it has been connected to the internet.

Barry, how do you know if it is working again? It could be just working for you and me.
I’ve used a system which uses 4 servers and load balancers. If one server was duff it all depended on which server you got allocated to whether or not it appeared to be working.

InactiveI have just tried YouTube on my HD-FOX T2, and am able to search for a video and select it. The loading symbol comes on for a few seconds before freezing. “crash” then “boot” appear on the front panel display before the box reboots.

Boot a HD T2 enter portal and try Youtube video playback, and yes it is still working for me at this moment in time – using most popular videos as the test.

InactiveSlight variation today – downloading a file causes a crash, but instead of rebooting, the HDFox is going into standby. Not the same as yesterday. But still useless.

InactiveHi All,
I emailed humax customer support about this on Saturday and received this reply:
“Thank you for contacting Humax Support.
I am sorry for the trouble you have had. We are aware of this issue and are currently working on a fix with Youtube to resolve this issue.
We hope to resolve this as soon as possible.
Best Regards,
Stephen M
Humax Customer Support”
Still not working on my box but looks like they are working on it.

ModeratorI already advised that Humax Towers were aware.
The problem is compounded in that it is working for some (mine is still working this morning) and not others.

InactiveHi
First noticed that Youtube crashed two weeks ago. It had always worked fine since new in May 2013. Software is 1.02.32

InactiveSame here. Started rebooting about two weeks ago every time I start any Youtube clips. Keen to see this fixed.
