Sorry wasn’t able to beta test but quick initial thoughts on latest update after a look round the revised menus etc:
Positives
– I can’t get either the web site or the app to display program guide data, I assume a Humax temporary problem ? (so can’t try setting up recordings)
– Although working previously, tonight I can no longer get the Humax LiveTV app to work on any of my android phone / tablet devices (not sure why, it used to work fine). Are we now also supposed to be able to watch Humax stuff away from home as the app write up suggests, in the same way that I access remote files on my NAS server away from home – but then it also says same network which contradicts ?).
I’m having the same problems – no guide info on the website, or on my android devices. Ipad won’t find the FVP-4000T, just keep getting the message devices need to be on same network – which they are!

ModeratorUpdate:
1. Aiming for unlimited roll out to be in place later today.
2. UK TV Play should launch tomorrow.
3. There is currently a server issue affecting guide population and both apps and web interface – investigations continue by server management team.

InactiveCheers Barry, I have just hard wired mine today to make sure, as the wireless option don’t come on for about a minute after the box is taken out of standby.

InactiveOn the Registration page, new users are asked for the Registration Code. Can anyone tell me where this is to be found, please? The current instructions don’t match the menu system in place now. R-

Do you know whether the timer start / end function for DLNA server in standby mode is supposed to be working in this release. As much as I tweak the timer settings, as soon as I put the box in standby the server shuts down every time.
Thanks

InactiveBarry,is there any chance you could use your influence with Humax Towers to see if any progress is being made with the 2160p issue. Regards.

Same here – web, iPad and iPhone guides are now populated and recordings requested from each. I had not appreciated that the overnight update had reverted the Update Period and Update Interval settings back to original “out of the box” ones. All remotely requested recordings are now showing on the schedule. What’s next?
