I would have expected mp4 to work; do they play if copied to the Humax?

I tried a couple of mp4’s one 1920 wide and the other 1280 both worked OK.

I have ran a temp ethernet cable between router and Humax and I.m viewing all video folders.

So.the problem must lie with a wireless setting or two.

I.ll take a note of IT Addresses within both devices.Anything else I would need to look at?

Your wireless adaptor is set to a different subnet to the ethernet adaptor.

The first thing to do would be to open a command prompt on the PC and ping the IP address of the Humax. If you get no response then the problem is the different subnets and you will need to look at the router settings to see if it can be resolved by having the Wireless IP addresses allocated on the same subnet.

Changed to same and now accessing videos on Tv thru PC.
