InactiveOn ITVX, at the end of each episode in a series, instead of moving on to the next, it freezes and a few minutes later reboots.
This happens on both of my boxes, but not on the Samsung TV
Anyone else have this problem? or better still, a solution?

InactiveI haven’t noticed it with the Aura yet, but like the ITV Hub before it, I have the same problem you have on a firestick, and on an android phone.
I therefore would think it is not the Auras fault on this occasion.
ITV Hub and ITVX just seem to be clunky and badly written Apps. I would guess they run out of memory and then it all goes wrong.

InactiveOn my Roku device on ITVX, at the end of an episode I get a message saying the next episode will start in ‘countdown’ seconds but it goes back to the Roku home screen instead, probably linked to your Aura problem. On the BBC catchup the episodes just keep rolling through as you’d expect, I think there’s a bit more work to do on ITVX.

InactiveMy Aura is doing exactly the same after every episode on itvX and BBC iPlayer it freezes and reboots .
I have done a factory reset etc .
I have informed Humax 3 weeks ago and all I have had is they are investigating

InactiveHaving the same problem with itvx. As soon as the video has finished the Aura reboots

InactiveSame here, ITVX always freezes then reboots attempting to return to Menu or the Guide. Cocks up current recordings as well. Don’t bother following ITVX/Humax recommendations, reset factory etc, it’s not the Aura it’s them. Don’t waste your time.

InactiveChanging the subject slightly but still with ITVX, when I try to resume watching a programme from where I left off I sometimes get taken back to the beginning of the programme instead, does anyone see this on Humax machines?

Manhattan T4-R looks interesting but its release keeps getting delayed and I haven’t seen its full specification,

InactiveI keep looking out for the Manhattan T4-R myself, i can’t find if you can record more than 2 programmes at the same time, this is going to be the main thing for me.

Yup, Manhattan are being a bit coy about that. For me the most important thing will be to discover whether early adopters think it is reasonably bug free,

InactiveI spent quite a while watching ITVX over the weekend and my Aura didn’t crash.
What apps/streaming services, if any, do people with crashes use on their Aura?
October 31, 2023 at 2:29 pm #111332Anonymous
InactiveI don’t use any streaming apps on my Aura, I use my TV’s streaming services instead. I got fed up with having to re-login to them all every time I had to do a Factory Reset.

InactiveSame issues here with ITVX… can’t believe Humax are not offering firmware updates to fix these devices. There isn’t really anything else on the market or I would switch.
