InactiveI’ve just had a response from Humax,
‘Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
We are experiencing an elevated volume of contacts due to an issue with our Aura set-top boxes, where specific channels may temporarily experience intermittent disturbance in reception with freezing or picture blackout.
Please be assured that our developer team is actively investigating the cause. Rest assured, we are working diligently to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.
There is no need for further action on your part at this time. We will provide updates and additional information as soon as a fix is available.
Thank you for your patience. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate your understanding.’

InactiveHas anyone tried the Beta test that they are offering yet?

InactiveI also experience the “random” freeze of U & Dave when it goes onto an ad break, typically after the first ad plays. Using Aura.
In addition, the sound on that channel, especially noticeable when there is something like and audience clapping (eg in QI or HIGNY) is really distorted.
Both seemed to start at around the time they rebranded a little while ago.
Not yet tried the Beta update but am certainly willing to give it a go.

InactiveSame issue for me with Dave with an Aura box. It is ok for a few minutes and then freezes. No other channels on the same mux have an issue. Factory reset does not fix the issue.

Noticed this also effects Sky Arts, which makes sense being on the same mux.

You need to report the problem to Humax and they may then offer you the Beta update, if they do please report back and tell us if it worked. Also this thread covers the same issue https://myhumax.org/forum/topic/sky-arts

It is affecting several channels on Com5. It seems worse at different times of the day with some channels appearing fine in the morning and unwatchable in the evening.

InactiveA few days ago Humax sent me a software update , now on version ….
“The updated version number you are supposed to see will be 1.00_63_240816_cc218e48d.”
I have tried this version and it works fine, hopefully Humax will now run it out as a new release.

InactiveAm I the only one once again getting an issue with a Com5 channel?
I recorded Celebrity SAS on 4/7 channel 049 (Com5) on Monday night and when playing back there were several freezes, I checked last night and this morning and got the same results live, brief black screen and long freeze with picture occurring often at random times apart from there always being a freeze when the ad break ends. I have not noticed any other Com5 channels affected yet.

” that they could offer support and advise. ” Needless to say I already reported the issue to them, I report every issue and encourage others to do the same as it seems to take multiple people reporting the same issue before any action is taken by Humax. This is the reply I got yesterday so I strongly suggest everyone else having this issue reports it to Humax, simply moaning about it on a forum achieves nothing…………..
“Thank you for your update and sorry to hear about the freezing again.
We’re not getting complaints about it reoccurring. Has it been permanent for you since then?

InactiveReceived today…………….
“Thank you for your feedback regarding the issues with 4Xtra and 4/7.
We have been in contact with COM5, and they confirmed that there have been recent works and changes on their end, which could be responsible for the temporary disruptions you’ve experienced.
We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as needed. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if the issues persist.
Best Regards,
