Ok. Watching Saturday night takeaway from the recordings menu (but it was still being recorded) I decided to, on the 2nd advert break, to fast forward the adds. I have my ff/Rw buttons set to 1 minute and 15 seconds respectively. So, when I pressed ff twice (my intention was 4 times for 4 minutes) the program exited and returned me to the recordings menu.
Wrong keys the skip keys are either side of OK.
Are you pressing the forward skip key right hand side of OK. If not you are likely to have exceeded the current time shift buffer file contents and dropped back to live TV.
Do no confuse the forward user set skip and reverse skip with the keys either side of OK, with the fast forward and fast reverse keys.
Saturday night takeaway recording has finished but I was still watching the recording. A pop up for Blackkklansman appeared stating that it was now going to be recorded and Saturday night takeaway pixelated for a second or so. Odd. I have not been able to rewind and watch Saturday night takeaway to see if it occurs every time or just a one off. In addition, again whilst ff the adverts during Saturday night takeaway it exited the recording after I tried to jump forward but only after 1 jump forward ( 1 minute for me this time) and put me back to the recordings list.
We’ve had 2 random reboots this afternoon. Was just watching ITVBe and screen when black. Next minute the “Humax” logo appear and the unit restarted 1 minute later. First I thought this was the latest update installing, but it was still on previous version of Beta 30/3/2021.
I’ve just checked the software version now, and it came up with the “Update App” notification message and I’ve just installed the 3/4/2021 beta.

I am using the left/right buttons next to ok. My terminology may be confusing. I am watching a recording as it was being recorded and I had plenty of “room” to jump ahead. I did not reach the end of the current recording. And FYI I have been kicked out twice whilst fast forwarding, back to the recordings list.

If you enable “avi info frame” it causes micro stutter when watching BBC iplayer, have not had chance to test other catchup services yet.
Another AVI InfoFrame oddity – With it enabled, if while playing a recording you press the guide button, the screen blanks for a few seconds before showing the guide, pressing the button again blanks the screen again before returning to the recording. With AVI InfoFrame disabled there’s no blank screen.
Thanks for opening up the beta to more members, this version is so much better than the current public release.
Just went looking to add apps and when I selected the “get more apps” and then the search icon the box did a complete cold restart.
Here’s a strange one. Watching the boat race on BBC1 HD on my Aura I setup an instant recording of the programme, whilst watching the live programme my Fox Sat HDR started up to prepare for recording. at this exact time TV screen blanked for a few seconds then returned. On playback of the Aura recording showed no artifacts at all. My leads are CT100 and are dressed away from HDMI leads. Signal level 80% quality 100%. If I am not recording, power cycling The HDR gives mild pixelation, whilst it looks like impulse interference, power cycling my other equipment nearby has no effect. Anybody else had the same?

On playback of the Aura recording showed no artifacts at all. My leads are CT100 and are dressed away from HDMI leads. Signal level 80% quality 100%. Presumably the Foxsat-HDR is connected to the same TV as the Aura and you have cec enabled on the TV or a hdmi port that auto selects on port activity. . When the foxsat woke up it would have switched to the Foxsat HDMI port for a few seconds so you were looking at the Foxsat which had no audio or video output at this time.
Watching all4 app again today. The picture froze but the sound continued in the background. I had to press “live tv” to get out of the app as it had locked up and no other commands were working.

No , picture remains stable. Only affects live program’s.

No , picture remains stable. Only affects live program’s.
Did you test the obvious one ?
Repeat watching live programme.
If the two units are in close proximity, try seperating them
