ModeratorFreesat would appear to have missed some interesting points off the change list:
1. Recordings now have Today, Yesterday or date annotated to them, similar in timers list but no date.
and
2. You can have some fun now with youtube and a tablet, look carefully at the tablet youtube screen, in top right hand corner, for tv icon you can opt to play on your freetime box without pairing now, just select the appropriate device id (if you are lucky enough to have more then one freetime unit) Device id as appears in system info.

Inactive“EPG Improvements” ???
If there then hard to spot. Major disappointment is the LIST feature shows no improvement and so it still takes 4 key presses to get to Favourites.
No Android app, another disappointment.

The main change is the background green is gone, also the category box has changed.
Not noticed anything else.
Massive improvement for me with the fixed Lip-Sync function bug which means I can now use my surround sound amp without the box behaving oddly.
Also it seems that if the box is recording in standby it doesn’t end up with a blank screen anymore when you turn on both the box and the tv at the same time.
One disappointment for me is in the recordings list, ie: double Corrie last night, but still nothing to distinguish which episode is which without pressing play.

InactiveOne improvement noted is the EPG is lots faster populating. Well done on that one.

InactiveJust set an instant record which what seems to be a bigger grey banner top center appears, well the R icon is certainly bigger.
One issue though is that I cannot seem to cancel the recording, I’m selecting cancel record but nothing happens.
And it seems the green EPG background has come back now.
Thinks I best factory default.

Just started instant recording for BBC2-HD Eggheads. Was able to cancel from the most recent recordings list.
I did put into standby during recording just to see if there was still an HDMI handshake issue which seems to of been resolved. I did try another instant recording without putting into standby which I could delete.
I’ve since done a factory default just in case.
Edit:
I’ve just done another instant record and put into standby again, turned back on and cannot cancel recording so I assume it’s a new bug.
I don’t suppose anyone wants to see if they can replicate?

ParticipantI have just re-produced this one. Instant Recording BBC2-HD Great Railway Journeys. Put in Sby rebooted. Can’t stop the recording. Never had any issues handshaking after boot while recording though.
Can’t say if it’s new , it’s not something I ever tried before.

InactiveNot a major issue, but noticed the videos in the Help & Info section show no picture but audio still plays.
