I have noticed that the icons are now gone.

1 try removing the power in plug for about 15 minutes.
2 If that fails a reset to factory defaults hopefully will fix it.
Bit of a strange one, looks like i will have to try a factory reset.
Seen this before, I think if network connections are ok they will populate (seems to be a periodic refresh, a power cycle seems to delay the refresh.

Well a factory reset doesn’t work only noticed this a couple of weeks ago will just have to hope it goes back to normal at some stage.

Does your on demand services work OK ?
I have a dongle plugged into my box but it doesn’t work all that good so dont really use the ondemand as it either works or it doesn’t.

That probably explains your missing icons.

The data seems to delivered using the internet. Run a temporary cat 5 cable to your router to see if they come back.
I thought as much i will give that a go to see if it sorts the problem.

I have the impression that the check for updates these is not run every day (at least on the HB-1000S, which uses a lot of the same logic.)

I beg to differ
, mine hasn’t been connected to the internet for well over a year and the icons are still there on showcase and the EPG, they also update on the EPG without any internet connection. The showcase programme pictures are delivered over the internet, so no internet no pics.
