InactivePress Settings > Freesat Channels > Favourite Channels.
Then after Favourites have been set,
Press the Guide button > Press the List button > Press the Up button to select Favourites > Press the OK button > Favourites list appears

Many thanks, wish they had a fav button instead of going through all this hassle we have to do. Yours is one of the best so far. Thanks for the info

A tad disengenous. You have to use Guide and then one press of the page skip key to enter the guide anyway (one less than you posted). list up OK then gives you favourites.
However I do agree it should remain set once selected.
Even worse is entering on demand and going back to the normal epg forgets favourites even though the option is indicated as selected.

I apologise, this “page skip key” is the >>| button I presume, I’ll give it a go might be useful when programming my remote.
I would of appreciated an option to turn off Now & Next.
List choice being sticky would of been very useful
and as woka77 and many other have said a colour button Shortcut to favourites would of been excellent.

The UI design is down to freesat.

ParticipantUsing the colour button for various shortcut activities (used quite extensively on other Humax pvrs) was suggested very early on, as was making the favourites selection sticky. Sadly not actioned yet, suspect this is down to freesat who basically dictate all aspects of the freesat UI, including the infuriating boot into the home screen used on later firmware updates. Seems daft to me, it just delays the boot up time by a short period

I imagine the first thing we all now due after a boot is go for the exit key

InactiveI loathe the boot to home screen too.
