InactiveJust turned itself off again.
Can’t say I’m impressed with this.
How long will it take for them to sort this out?

It would appear some people are experiencing this issue more than others. As far as I know my 1000s has only had two reboots so far. I have probably jinxed it now by saying that.

InactiveWhile watching the Olympics my 1000s rebooted about 3 times a day, no reboots lately but I’m not really watching that much TV at the moment.

How long between switching itself off? Have you got power saving activated, if so the box will auto shut down after around 3 hours if not being used.

Around mid day yesterday it just turned off whilst I was watching something. Then last night I put my HTPC on to watch a film. The film was only an hour and forty minutes long. When I switched back the humax box has turned itself off again.
I’ve checked in settings and power settings aren’t on as far as I can tell.

ParticipantReboot at 13.25 while watching a recording. Box appears to have continued recording Channel 5 HD during the reboot. Will have to check later.

InactiveSorry to ask is this something we should be expecting and wait for a resolve? I don’t really wanna factory reset if it’s server end and they’re twiddling. My box is rebooting and switching my TV on in the night and it’s like being in an episode of Black Mirror! haha

If it’s switching the TV on then you probably have CEC active on your TV. You should disable this as it causes no end of issues with Humax boxes.

InactiveThanks but it hasn’t caused any problems at all until it started this rebooting lark.
What other issues will CEC make evident?
