InactiveReply from Humax.
Thank you for contacting Humax, I’m sorry to hear about the trouble you’re experiencing with your Humax equipment.
There is an on-going issue we are aware off at present. We are hoping to get this issue resolved ASAP.
However at present we have no timescale.

ModeratorI’ve already stated on page 1 of this thread that Humax Towers were made aware of issues by me, and provided a further update on page 2.

InactiveContacted BBC five days ago.
All I have received up to now is an automated response.
REF number given to me: CAS-7154695-T6C2M5
I’m not very hopeful to be honest…

InactiveBBC Iplayer still not working on my HDR-1000s for a few weeks, most annoying thing for me is that the “Start from beginning” option in the programme guide also does not work as that uses Iplayer. Needs fixing please..

InactiveIt is very annoying especially when all of these Humax products are still (supposedly) certified for use by the BBC: https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/help/questions/supported-devices/humax

InactiveNearly two weeks now, and still not working. BBC were quick to send a ‘we’ll get around to it eventually…maybe… we’re very busy’ sort of reply, and since then a deafening silence.

InactiveWe are also having this problem. We have 2 Humax HDR 1000S receivers.
One has a hard drive and won’t work on iPlayer, the other one without hard drive works fine. Both from the same dish. The non-working one has software version UKSFAA 3.00.98
Thew working one has UKSFAC 3.00.98. I don’t know if that makes any difference. Anyway I hope either BBC or Humax sort it out soon!

InactiveI’m also seeing this problem on my HDR 1100S. In addition, I’m starting to see random ‘crashes’ and lockups.
Looking likely my box’s days may be numbered.
I could either get another (non Humax) box are resurrect my Foxsat.

That’s interesting stuff. My software version is also UKSFAA 3.00.98
Have you reported what you have found?

I’ve already mentioned on page 1 that a HB unit (UKSFAC 3.00.98 software) appears to be working – Humax Towers are aware of this.
You do not have 2 x HDR’s you have one HDR and a HB.

InactiveBBC passing the buck to Humax. Received this email today:
‘Thanks for getting back in touch with us regarding the ongoing issue with Humax devices accessing iPlayer.
We have raised the issue and been in touch with Humax who have confirmed that they are investigating the issue.
Unfortunately we have not had any further information than this from Humax but I can assure you it is being looked into.
Any updates will be posted on our known issue page for the problem whenever they are available.’
Two weeks now since the problem started. It really isn’t good enough.

InactiveNot good enough?? It’s an absolute disgrace on both Humax and BBC’s parts. This is a basic service which is working fine on Humax Freeview boxes. Surely this should be a simple fix. Why has this required 2 weeks worth of investigation, still ongoing? I think we’re being had over a barrel in an attempt to force the purchase of a Freeview box or the newer Freesat 4K unit, which is awful.

My feelings exactly. Especially when the blurb on the BBC iPlayer fault pages still indicates that Humax Freesat boxes are still supported.
It does look like an effort to steer Hummy Freesat owners to the new 4k boxes…

InactiveI’ve just checked and iPlayer’s working again!
Thank you to Humax and the BBC and to you all for your input.
