Can you connect a laptop to the cable, disable wireless and measure the download speed ?

I have 152mbps
Clearly not an internet issue. Perhaps a dodgy server. TBH I don’t use catch up very often as I have enough tuners to record pretty well anything.

There are a few of us on this forum who are experiencing this issue with All 4.
I have a good download speed too but still have the issue, All 4 doesn’t work at all for me, i.e. when the ads finish and the programme takes over, I get blocking.
All my catchup services work just fine – on computers, tablets, smartphones, a smart TV and 2 STBs – it’s only All 4 on my HDR-1000S that doesn’t work.

Post an example I will try it later and post what happens.

erm, example of what?
An example of a programme that exhibits the issue you refer to ?

InactiveWell, like I said in my post, no programmes work. The ads work fine and when they finish, the blocking starts, on *all* programmes.

ParticipantChose first programme in recommendations. 24 hours in A&E Series 10 Ep I. Playing back just fine after first ad break.

InactiveYes, and I’m happy for you, but I’m not saying *you* have a problem – I’m saying *I* have a problem … don’t really understand where your input is taking this.

Well as we presumably have identical boxes using the same software, it would seem the issue must be a local one. If the issue can’t be repeated, how can it be fixed ?
The first thing to get any sort of fix is to be able to replicate the issue.
Can you try the box on someone else’s home network ?
Perhaps try and find something in common with others with the same issue.

InactiveWell, we may well have the same box, if indeed you have an HDR-1000S, but I might have a faulty one.
The box has as good as been tried on another home network, it’s been used here with a different ADSL modem and a different router, in various combinations, to no avail. That only leaves the splitter and the cables, which I very much doubt are causing the problem.
The problem isn’t local.
