I surpose it is all down to the energy source mix. Thats 50% more than me (mine includes VAT). I understand Germany are twice French rates. I guess price is one of the plus points for Nuclear (78% here) as well as very low CO2

    The quoted prices include VAT.

“I assume all machines have the same problem”

I would assume so. My 1TB model was installed yesterday, Monday, and it shows the problem.

This is the second forum I have seen where the topic is the clock bug but contributors become diverted by the cost of electricity.

It is true that running in normal standby costs slightly more than the default standby, however perhaps not quite as much as has been suggested by some as the real cost is normal standby minus default standby.

However, that has nothing to do with the clock bug. The bug is there and it is annoying to those like me who prefer the normal standby mode.

Damn, now I have been dragged into the electricity debate.

Post #5 from Barry says Humax are aware of the issue, no doubt it will be correctled in due course.

It has no effect on the HDR-1000S main recording function.

Are you saying that your machine was installed after the clocks went back but shows BST – i.e. 1 hour ahead?

I very much doubt it matters a fig when it was installed. afaik we all have the same firmware, so will have the same issue.

If it did make a difference a reset to defaults would have sorted it out (basically a new install)

Correct. Although today, Wed, it is showing the correct time, so something happened overnight to correct it.

So is mine, had to turn off power saving to find out.

    Perhaps a freesat problem then?
