Moderator**Be wary of sellers on a certain auction site claiming to have stock**
ie – more then 10 available – check the delivery forecast.

InactiveWell the new Freesat PVR box seems very interesting.
I’m little disappointed that it’s still only dual LNB fed though, quad would be nice.
Also the box itself is rather ugly, I prefer the look of the current Foxsat-HDR to be honest.
Looks better amongst my other HIFI devices than the new PVR would.
I hope the EPG on the new box only shows channels from the currently selected favourites group (like the HDR Fox-T2, but unlike the Foxsat-HDR)
I also hope it does not have any of the bugs the Foxsat-HDR still has, such as the favourites group not staying selected.
In terms of the remote, I guess it looks OK, but I really wish they would stop using shiny plastic, it’s terrible for fingerprints and hard to keep clean.

What advantage does that give?

The remote looks remarkably simlar to the Youview remote, the only difference is freesta logo at the bottom, and possably som of the functions of the buttons

ModeratorYes it is, I have already mentioned some of the obvious differences in post #15

Some see the two boxes (not just the remotes!) – i.e. Youview and Freesat Freetime – as similar but competing platforms. But which is better? There’s only one way to find out!
