Baffled. Out of interest 999 is on the Freesat Home Transponder. On other than freetime boxes it’s a quick and handy check you have access to Eurobird 1 (Though that’s due to be de-commissioned in the near future). Most likely when Astra 2G gets to 28.2E.

InactiveIn system information what system ID do you have? 809C.7D10 ?
Does System Information – network show a current network connection and apart from the IP address show the same info as the HDR-1000S?
Can you ping the HB-1000S’s IP from a PC?

Yes. Still not working.
Was able to try out another HB1000S at my location and worked perfectly.
I’ll patiently wait for a possible future OTA update and hope that fixes it.

As you have the latest firmware, it seems likely you have a hardware issue. If so a software update is unlikely to help. If possible best to get it replaced under the warranty.

InactiveI think I would try the following for a last time.
Stop if anything starts working.
0. Tune to BBC2-HD. Place unit in standby. Remove network cable. Wait 5 mins.
1. Start unit. Leave 5 mins.
2. Reconnect the network cable. Note if any message is displayed.
3. Enter network settings – reselect connect automatically even if it is the displayed option.
4. Wait 15 mins.
5. Recheck On-demand, showcase, backward epg.
If there was a reset file available I would suggest that in place of this as it is apparent that a factory reset does not reset everything.

Thank you, but didn’t work.
