ModeratorThe hard drive for the 9200T is extremely difficult to source as Seagate do not make the 160GB IDE ACE model any more.
Where did you get your HDD from and was it new or reconditioned?

ModeratorI had to re-scan my TV very recently because of the same issue – Film 4 was missing.
Try a re-scan of the channels.

What relationship do you have with Humax? I suspect none and the information you give is just fabricated.

ModeratorI agree with Martin. It sounds like the internal hard disk drive is faulty.
If you watch live TV can you press the Pause button to pause the live programme?

ModeratorThere is no way to adjust the display but the later models of the 9200T had a much dimmer display than the originals.

Would you go for the extra space of the 1TB model or is 500gb plenty? (we found the 160gb ok on the 9200T but we did’nt have HD to think about).
Thanks again
I always say you should go for the best you can afford. I think the 1TB model is worth the extra.

ModeratorThats what I thought. Thanks for the info.

ModeratorMy advice is to keep the T2, and use it for a TV in the kitchen or bedroom.

ModeratorI’ve used a product called ProjectX which has worked well for my old 9200T ts files. Its not very intuitive, but it will separate all the streams from the ts file and store each as a separate file. You can then load the video and audio streams separately into your editor, or use ProjectX to re-merge those streams into a single mpeg that you can then edit.
There are three possible problems:
1) ProjectX is written in java, so it may work on a Mac with a bit of tweaking.
2) I haven’t tried ProjectX with a Foxsat ts stream.
3) It doesnt work for HD streams.
