Who are you asking to fix your problem? This is an independent forum for owners of Humax products. My5 has nothing to do with Humax, or this forum.
It may have something to do with your local broadband, as there are currently many more people than normal sitting at home streaming games and TV from the internet.
I assume that you want to connect the Humax recorder to your TV and not your remote, you probably need a scart to composite connector.
