I hope the Netflix app does not have picture stutter. Any chance they will ever fix the 4000 having stutter in Netflix?

Just watched nearly 2 hours of Netflix on a FVP 4000T, no stuttering at all throughout – unit connected to network via powerline adaptor.
Yes you do. Don’t look too hard as once you’ve clocked it there’s no going back. Check for pans and movement if you find yourself in need of driving yourself nuts

Plenty of ‘pans and movement’ in the 2 episodes of Star Trek Discovery I watched back to back, no stutter discernible.
However this is off topic for this thread so back to 5000T discussion please.

Mike – which factory reset option sorted your problem?
That is unusual…
Try the first option in:
Settings
System Settings
Factory Default
‘Reset All Settings’
Make a note of your schedule list as it will be deleted, recordings are saved with this option.

The LED is purple during recording on the FVP 5000T, I’ll highlight error on website to Humax Towers.
Website now has correct info re LED.

Do you think some of the features in the 5000 software (like list of recordings instead of grid) will be retrofit back to the 4000?

Nothing has yet been confirmed in terms of a possible software upgrade to the FVP 4000T, if and when that changes I’ll update you all soonest.
