You need not be concerned, Humax are fully aware that on return some units work out of the box.
Usual practice is for 2TB models to be exclusively available from Humax Direct for a long period.
Refund you would deal with them…fault contact usual Humax Support, and if they deem replacement is necessary then contact Humax direct.
We have some members who have purchased the 2TB model from Humax Direct so hopefully they will update this thread with their experience.

1. Not a bug – If you choose the HD option when setting a recording from the SD variant of the channel then you won’t see a confirmation, you are still viewing the SD variant of the channel so the options you witnessed are correct.
2. As for your other problem, was the EPG populated?
Just tried same using a HB1100S and same. unit resets after selecting episode to play.
Reported to Humax Towers.

With LAN disconnected in:
Settings
Network Settings
the ‘Configure WLAN’ should now be an option that can be selected, once selected should just be a matter of selecting your wireless network and input correct password.
If the channels are transmitted on the same mux then that is correct.
You have to record from 3 different muxes to see signal test results on all 3 tuners.

You obviously did not check out the FAQ I have previously linked to then, which btw was published before the FVP units were generally available.
