    Not getting any sound from all4 when programme starts.. Sound during ads but then goes off when programme starts!!! Anyone know why?

    I’m told this was fixed in recent software update. If your unit has been in standby it should have updated.

    I’ve just streamed something called Taskmaster, and the programme resumed with sound after the first as break.

    Hey Barry! You seem to me to have the holy grail of information I.e. what’s been fixed in firmware updates. Are you allowed to share with those who have parted good money for this machine?

    They should change the channel being view, and/or page up and down in the guide.

    If you cannot enter 4 zeros at installation page you are stuck.

    You could try uploading software to see if the will force a reset to system installation:

    Failing that contact Humax Australia support:

    Thay may have a default file you can upload to unit.

    Thank you i have a wall plate already so that one is out!

    As you dont have that Model on the site i am now stuck!

    As for a Factory reset, i was looking at trying that but where on Earth do i do that, i cannot see anywhere that one can do a Factory reset??

    According to the user manual:

    Menu

    Settings

    Installation

    Factory Default

    Default password is 0000 (4 zeros)

    If similar to UK units you will lose recording schedule if you have one so make a note.

    Welcome to our Forum :-)

    Highlight the recording you want to delete and press Red button and confirm, if you are asked for password it is 0000 (four zero’s)

    Hi and welcome to our Forum :-)

    We don’t have that unit in UK so cannot attempt to replicate your problem.

    Have you tried another factory reset as this should default the antenna power option to off.

    Series Link seems to be broken for ” I’am a Celebrity “. Either no option for series link or series does not flag a recording.

    Freesat appears also to not display record flags either for ” I’am a Celebrity “

    anybody having this problem?

    Not a programme I have ever watched, however, just set (and deleted) a series link timer (itv hd) without issue.

    It takes a while to boot from low power sby. The box gives no clue it’s doing anything. If you wait a few minutes it should eventually boot. This is mentioned in the manual.

    I don’t know why people are saying it takes minutes to boot from deep standby. It doesn’t. From pressing power on button mine takes about 50 seconds to be fully operational

    3 tests, variable timings, quickest 53 secs, longest 72 secs.
