Have only seen this message once on the HD unit connecting via WiFi, and that was with pressing the Portal button immediately after boot up – left it a few seconds longer to connect to network and all was OK.
A bit off topic but just read this posted elsewhere:
no mention of how to get from a video (in Youtube) back to main youtube menu without exiting portal altogether.
I do wonder why some people buy equipment that is obviously to complex for them, does no one actually pick up a remote and press a few keys to see what happens nowadays? do they have to be led by the hand for everything?
I would it was pretty obvious to try the back button if nothing else.
Just for info I am using the latest releases on both HD and HDR, all appears well.
Have streamed a few TV programmes and listened to 2 complete radio programmes via iplayer. Played back a few You Tube videos, also used the search function, and used Internet radio.
Have spoken with contact at Humax Towers a few minutes ago, do not have the lowdown on what went wrong as yet.

Working fine after testing BBBCi player now improving my mind to some classical music from internet radio ( I couldn’t even pronounce the station name it’s Dutch
) Now for some Heavy Metal.None of this head banging stuff I hope, you’ll give yourself a headache
It is not only iplayer that is giving grief.
I note in some quarters the beta testers are to blame again, their crystal ball must be broken 🙄

Hi – is sky available on the portal as no mention in the release notes only reference made to youtube
Skyplayer not available yet.
Any idea when it may be with us – will it be via another firmware update or just set live via the portal?
Unfortunately the answer to both questions is ‘not known at this time’ – I do not like to speculate.
When I have definitive info that I can release it will be posted.
No not just you Graham, Humax are investigating, it appears to be a problem with the Portal, but that is not official.
HDMI improved significantly for me using a Toshiba, and cheapo rebrand TV. Sony were one of the brands tested as well, have you checked to see if there is an update for your TV.
Re iplayer, all was well before yesterday evening, Humax are investigating as to where the problem lies.

Anyone else having trouble with with network connection after software upgrade?
My edimax wifi dongle was working fine before upgrade, but now the box doesn’t see it
Cannot comment on the dongle you are using, but the Humax one still works OK.
I posted the news in both sections, HDR and HD as I was aware that both were getting the update.
