For info, you may/may not see the following info screens about the update:

Android app has been released as you may well know from other posts on Forum.
iOS version will be released early next week.
This is a staggered roll out over the next few Days.
Many changes, new options for audio settings, video resolution settings, and update to the remote, you can now set 1 of 6 codes as per other Humax units.
Change the remote code of the 4000T

Given it’s an android box, I’m mildly surprised they are even doing an iPhone app (slightly tongue in cheek – I appreciate that there are too many iOS users out there to ignore!)
Woah. I always forget Android is a google thing. For me google is high quality but my android devices say otherwise. Well, fingers crossed then otherwise might have to get an old android phone out the cupboard as have a spare one I haven’t given away yet.
You might have a problem if phone is to old…..app needs android version 6.0 or later

Hopefully the next software update will enable us to set remote to different codes as per other Humax units 😉

IR interaction was cured by sticking black tape over the Aura remote IR emitter at the end and putting black tape over the Aura box receiver window, this stops the Humax YouView box from being activated by the Aura remote, I cant imagine why Humax didnt realise this would be a problem. Looking forward to the software update . . . .

Can now offer freesat owners a link to new software for YouTube fix which you can upload to your units – HB1000/1100S, HDR1000/1100S
If you want it PM me with the model of freesat unit i.e. HB or HDR
Note – this is a new software version so units will not revert to older version overnight and therefore render the fix useless.

Yes, this was only a test software version.
Humax Towers have acknowledged my report of problems.
