ModeratorI would not normally comment but in this instance, stating a new version is in Beta is not strictly true.
Yes there is a version not publically available, but it is not that new, and nothing outwardly has changed.
Nothing unusual about this, just look at the release candidate version numbers, very rarely are they consecutive.
When and if there is anything interesting to report, I will update the Forum.

Not sure I have seen any complaints before re the HDR T2 remote.
Have you removed the protective film from the front of the unit?

Try resetting the networks settings again, and or place unit into and out of standby.

We do not have the cable box in the UK, but there is no need to install anything on your PC.
Win 7 media player should recognise that you have the Humax connected to your network, and the unit name should appear in ‘other libraries’

You are correct in the assumption that the system id is corrupt, although the error normally is reported as E-OS or E-Id
I can supply the small file you need to correct this. I can send to the email address you registered with, or you can PM me an alternative if you prefer.

ModeratorHi katef – Can you post the details of software version, loader, and system ID as found via menu, system, status.
Edit much later: more repeats of the OTA have been scheduled for next week see:

I can only see dates from Dec 2011 listed on the link you have posted.
If your unit settings are as default, then leaving it in standby overnight should result in new software being downloaded when it is transmitted.
