Welcome to our Forum harroagtepablo :-)

Channels in the 800’s is a freeview issue not freesat.

The problem with BBC News is probably the series/programme crid data annotated to the programme later on in the week……have not checked this out fully as yet.

In the meantime you could set a repeat timer for the programme rather then relying on series linking it.

If users experience this problem then they can contact Humax Support who will provide V18.

It is important to note this is only relevant to users who have issues with the EPG locking up, and the unit requiring a power cycle to restore operation, there are no other changes.

Believe it will also help if you have a rebooting issue whilst browsing the EPG.

Menu, Settings, Edit Channels (default password is 0000) Edit Channel List:

Highlight the Channel(s) you want to remove and press OK, press red button to delete. When you have finished and exit the menu you will be asked if changes are to be saved.

    Welcome to the Forum :-)

Not much consolation I know, but on my first attempt, after reading your post, I also got the same error message after pressing red on Chan 903 – however on subsequent attempts it is working OK for me.

Edit: I should have mentioned this using a Foxsat HDR.

    Welcome to the Forum :-)

    Apologises for the late reply.

Could be a couple of reasons….

Dish alignment, not picking up Eurobird which has the home transponder.

Check the connections ensure none of the outer braid is touching centre core.

Hopefully Graham will perhaps suggest something, as he can normally get to the bottom of freesat reception issues.

If the Start and End Padding times options are set to Off then you are using the auto track feature, where supported by the broadcaster, if not supported then timers record to EPG times.

Agree with Jeremy – Just streamed Inside Men in HD for 10 minutes without issue.

Janice – No need to apologise if you did not know it was there it is easy to miss.

I agree with you that using just the rear usb post is the tidier solution.

You can use either type of usb hub, powered or unpowered, but I would plump for powered if the external HDD you are using does not have its own power supply. Difficult to recommend one as there are so many available, but no need to spend a fortune.

Hello Janice and welcome to our Forum :-)

I think you may have misunderstood my comments relating to the 2 units, whilst I have them connected to my network in different ways there is nothing to stop you using a usb hub on the HDR……however before going any further ~

You do realise there are 2 usb ports on the HDR, one on the rear, and one on the front?
