    Welcome to the Forum :-)

The BBC are looking into providing sub titles, as for ITV your guess is as good as mine, it has taken them long enough to provide on HD broadcasts.

I presume that your comment re 30 seconds is the amount of time before the unit locks up.

Try removing the aerial feed, and access the menu’s to get the info Biggles has requested, once we know this, someone might be able to help further.

Cable would be my preference as well, however youcxould use powerline adapters….something like these for instance:

Although I use a different brand.

Records to the end of the programme whenever I have tried this. You can of course press record a second time and alter the duration of the recording.

I have just purchased a wifi dongle from Humax. Unfortunately, when I follow the installation instructions, there is NO option to setup wifi in the system menu! I do not have an ethernet cable connected. I have done a factory reset, but to no avail.

    Can anyone help?

From your previous posts I assume you have a Foxsat HDR (satellite recorder) – WiFi is not supported on that product.

I have used both WD passport and Seagate Freeagent portable HDD’s in the past on my HD T2.

Your HD T2 needs to be connected to your router via lan cable or if that is inconvenient, homeplug adaptors,or wifi dongle.

Welcome to the Forum KevinR :-)

Something amiss last night as well:

    Freeview both started at 21:00

Horizon Solar Storms extra 38 mins on end BBC HD (freesat recording is correct duration)

Prisoners wives extra 39 mins on end BBC 1HD

If you had the following programmes to record you may have a failure ‘unable to track’ eg Survivors on BBC HD @ 22:00
