News for 4000/5000T owners.
A phased roll out of new software commenced on Monday.
Full rollout expected to be by middle of next week if no problems reported.
More when/if I get it.
Just checked my s/w after reading this post and see my 5000T has a new version with a build date of 13th January.
Search seems to work but the back/return still doesn’t work even though it is shown on the screen

Thanks Barry. That is the same update and instructions I got from Humax. But I might now try the update for HDR 1000s instead of HDR 1100s, anything is worth a try. Also , in the settings of the box, update software. Is this updating via the satellite dish or the internet connection? Mine always says ‘no new software found’

I have the same problem. Humax emailed me the update and instructions of how to update via usb stick. But my HDR 1100s box wasn’t having any of it. I tried 6 different usb sticks with the update on but my box just did nothing. Does any-one have any other ideas of how to install this update?

Check your PM’s I’ve sent the version Humax Towers sent me that definitely works with instructions – maybe the same as Humax sent you.

Has there been a new (small) update dated 29th January?
Yep small update to the application version.
For example, in the record and share menu you will note entry ‘Mobile App’ and on selecting displays QR codes for the app stores.
Can someone clarify how to check if you’ve had the update. My details still show the 14th Jan as latest. Should this info be updated with a later date post this small update.
