ModeratorThe HDR T2 does not have HDMI CEC functionality, so if it is not recognised by your TV (appears to work with some Panasonic kit) then I’m afraid you are stuck with manually selecting the input.

1. This Forums stance on discussing encryption removal:
http://myhumax.org/forum/topic/removal-of-certain-links-and-posts
2. Wifi dongles probably your best bet for a cheap way of linking the units, certain Edimax dongles have worked:
EW 7711 series if memory serves.
3. You will have to switch units on unless you set power on/off timers.

No news on what the broadcasters or Humax intentions are regarding these players.

ModeratorAl
Were you using standard or customised firmware?
Barry
ModeratorSo it might be stuck in a delete loop.
If the menu is still greyed out after a power cycle then obviously you cannot.
Barry
ModeratorWelcome to the Forum

If menu items are greyed out, then the unit ‘thinks’ it is recording or playing back a recording.
First thing I would try is a power cycle and if you can then access the menu a factory default, make a note of your timers as you will have to reschedule them.

ModeratorYou might want to read this post by Martin re tuning:
Barry
ModeratorWelcome to the Forum humaxowner

If your Channel 5 is located on 804 then it is highly likely that you are still tuned to 2 transmitters and this is the source of your problems.
Barry
ModeratorI have replicated this, and will point it out to Humax the next time I speak with them.

ModeratorSorry for lack of response to this one, but I had no definitive info, and my contact has been tied up with ‘other stuff’
However as graham has stated Nigel did play with this early doors:

ModeratorAs per my other response if members do not record this programme, then it is not a surprise at the lack of response however:
The symbol is displayed when ‘A Recording is stopped due to an unexpected error’ wording taken from the manual.
What software version do you have on board?
Are you sure you are only tuned to one transmitter?
Is this the only prgramme you are having this issue with?
As the series has now ended it is going to be difficult to try and replicate.
