YouView website has had a makeover. A user guide (pdf) is available from the support section.
Digital UK has CP listed as undergoing planned engineering,and digital tv is liable to interruption:

Don’t know whether that would have any bearing on the OP’s problem.
The update is not being broadcast at the moment, commences again Fri 6 July at 10 am, so if left in standby unit should update overnight Fri/Sat.
That is the problem old software.
It should update if left in standby overnight, and you are receiving the HD mux – when OTA is on air of course.

Wait for next OTA

Freeview has limited capacity, and only a couple of the interactive streams will be available during the olymppics, these usually have dedicated channel numbers so you could record 2 of these at any one time.

but I do not think this will change anything – why because of the number of support calls they receive where users have had the wrong device selected.
Having just got a version of the remote that gives the pop up, I do not know what all the fuss is about.
After reading some speculation elsewhere, just to be clear the update is still being broadcast at this time.

Closing this one.
Internet radio did work on this version, but obviously somethings gone amiss – Humax Towers are aware.
You cannot switch off auto update with standard firmware.
