Have you tried a Factory reset?
Dependant on where the unit was purchased it may still be under warranty, so a call to Humax Support might be in order.

ModeratorHas your area completed digital switch over?
Which channel is listed as 800?

Bad news I’m afraid, from a previous post with same problem Humax Support advised it was not user repairable.
Contact support, if within warranty they can offer a swap out or maybe a repair if you want to keep your recordings.

Any channels listed in the 800 range, could you be tuned to 2 transmitters?
Barry
ModeratorI speak from many years of experience dealing with freeview issues, and understanding a little of how it works.
It ia allied to the SI data, as you have found by experimenting, if you are tuned to the Com multiplexes then your Quest recordings are successful, but not if tuned to PSB, this is because your unit is not receiving the expected SI data from the region you set the timers to.

Your problem is down to the fact you are tuned to 2 transmitters, there is no solution unless you accept the Wales region for all your channels.

I wonder if Barry knows Stargate and Mr Pocket from the trials site, as they had a great song to the tune of Delilah! 😆
Nope, subscribed, had a look around for a few hours and unsubscribed on the first day it was made available.

Have witnessed the same problem, unit appears to forget it is connected, yet displays that it is in the menu. I have found just going through the internet set up again without changing anything appears to ‘fix’ it.

The Foxsat HD remote is not multi function, and only controls the set top box.

Possibly a power supply problem. There has been a few reports of similar, and investigations revealed this to be the cause (bulging capacitors)
A couple of places sell repair kits:

Glad to hear it worked for you.
Barry
ModeratorTry PL1 – you do not need to enter second part of postcode.
Barry
ModeratorA relatively minor annoyance that some dislike.
As you were recording it anyway, if you had replayed from the media list you would not have the problem.
Chances of a fix – negligible.

Series Link – Highlight a programme in the guide, press OK, options in onscreen messages should be SD/HD alternative if available, then Record whole series, record single programme, watch.
itvplayer – working for me presently, though can be unreliable.
