ModeratorAh just been DSO’d –
Clutching at a very large bale of straw – perhaps data not fully broadcast as yet?
Think you might have to call or send YV a report on that one.
Barry
ModeratorHumax Towers are aware of this.
Barry
ModeratorBesides setting a timer for each individual programme there is not a lot you can do about it, as the PVR lacks the basics such as repeat timers.
I have sent a message to YV support.
Edit:
Young Apprentice on BBC1 HD links for me, try again.
Barry
ModeratorNo problem

A quick check of the series crid data via a HDR T2 and both programmes contain the necessary data, and series linking OK on that unit as detailed below.
Caveat the series link coding is a little unusual.
Man V Food Nation 1730 has link OK
Ace of Cakes 0600 has linked OK
Edit:
Having now booted the YV box – looks like it cannot handle/recognise the series data format that the Food network are using.
For the episodes as listed above (info from a HDR T2)
Man V Food series crid is – /23586
Ace of Cakes series crid is – /21194

If you could provide some examples then we can investigate further.

Unfortunately the forum you are probably thinking of disappeared without trace, along with all the hard work that went into it, but lets not dwell on that.
We have on a couple of occassions that I can think of had many genuine sign ups in an hour.

Hello
Iplayer not working on Foxsat-HDR, when I go to channel 901 it says it is not connected, it is , It has worked fine in the past, but not recently. Last night it would let me search for programmes but not play them and tonight it says not connected and wont get as far as the menu. Is this me or the BBC??
Welcome to the Forum

It appears to be working OK for me this morning.

I am guessing you have unit connected via HDMI
I no longer have a toshiba TV but if I remember correctly you could set aspect ratio for each individual HDMI input, and save the setting, using the ‘quick’ button on the remote, You have not mentioned model number, so this is a guess.
Try changing the HDMI input the unit is connected to, see if that fixes the issue.

Hi, I have read a good number of the posts on this issue. My remote has also just stopped working today.
for info:
system id: 3768.0000
s/w: HPRSFCI 1.00.21
This thread was specifically for issues with SD recorders.
Foxsat HDR remote at a guess from software and sys id numbers.
1. Check the remote is actually sending commands, by viewing the IR window with a digital camera.
2. Could someone have inadvertently changed the remote code see this FAQ
Barry
ModeratorThis might not work for every situation but is worth trying.
If your unit becomes unresponsive try keying in 2580, then wait for the now next banner to appear/disappear, if it does then you should have control again.
(code 2580 clears the browser buffer)

This lack of functionality is a bit of a deal breaker for me, and i suspect quite a few other people. Does anyone know if any future firmware updates might enable this?
You can of course use either the Foxsat HDR, or HDR T2 remotes if you are used to them.

Is it true that the FOXSAT-HDR is discontinued or is joinfreesat getting too excited in drumming up sales for the new box?
Still in production til end of year.
Barry
ModeratorYou do not need an aerial connection, working or otherwise to access the menu’s.
Try removing the aerial input, and then accessing the default menu.

Maybe I could turn off DHCP on my router and see if I can trick it lol! Cheers guys.
That works, I just tried it
Barry
ModeratorDHCP appears to be the only option presently.
