ModeratorThe latest version is 1.00.06 which all production units should have uploaded at factory.

ModeratorDTR T1000 more reliable then the T2 – a definite no from me, but it is a case of horses for courses.
Youview unit still has to many basic PVR functions missing for it to get any recommendation for me, along with some outstanding issues.
However it depends on priorites, if on demand use is top of your list then obviously YV having all the major players on board is a plus.

ModeratorAs Martin has stated, cannot remember anyone posting such a problem before.
1. You could try a factory reset if that menu option is available, I suspect it might not be.
2. You could try installing version 1.01.09 software (pre background delete) to regain control of delete, and if successful upload latest version, again I am not convinced it will work but worth a try.

ModeratorQuote:Can I do a factory reset of Humax and then reinsert the dongle and start afresh? Why not give it a try, you have nothing to lose, it should work.
Barry
ModeratorCannot be specific, but work is progressing in this area.

I think the difference must be due to checking at two different times. All three now give 70% with infrequent jumps to 80%.
Weather related ?. Expecting some foul weather shortly here, gales already and heavy rain tracking in from the NW.
Tell me about it, what a day so far here in Plymouth.
Barry
ModeratorI understand what you are getting at, but makes no difference what output you select via menu’s still the same result via HDMI to TV. Perhaps I could have made it clearer in my post. Humax are aware that this has been an issue for a while.
Barry
ModeratorI can tell you want it has not fixed:
1. Long boot
2. Audio glitches on 5.1 via HDMI to TV
3. Horrible imbalance in audio between 5.1 and stereo via HDMI to TV – try switching between BBC HD and ITV HD.
Edit:
I see Youview have now commented, better late then never, keep up at the back

ModeratorResponse to the Food network issue:
With regards to your enquiry about the availability of series record on the Food Network.
We have been advised by the Food Network that they do not allow series recording and should the viewer wish to record more that one episode they will need to record each one separately
Then Youview why:
1. Do series timers work on other freeview equipment eg HDR T2.
2. Why do Food Network bother transmitting series and programme crid data.
Youview obviously have not bothered to carry out any investigation of this issue whatsoever.
I give up 🙄

ModeratorThere were numerous problems with iplayer yesterday until early evening.
Main page you could not scroll left/right, playback just did not work etc etc.
Just tried scrolling down channel list in TV menu, and all appears OK this morning.
