ModeratorUK products are not fully supported as yet.
Whilst you can register, upload an avatar to your units if desired, nothing else works for the time being.

ModeratorPosts elsewhere have been highlighted to me re a file that has appeared on Humax beta download site.
This file is only a default file and not firmware, they are much larger in size.
Unless advised by Humax support – in which case you will be given upload instructions, ignore it.

Your report is a tad confusing.
‘f’ connectors are the standard connection. I guess you are using the same cable that worked ok on the grundig, and if so then can only assume that you need to remove, check the cable and f connector carefully, re insert in the HDR 1000S and try again.
The HDR 1000S then needs to be connected to the TV via HDMI or scart connector, and the TV switched to the correct input. You should see the installation wizard on screen.

A USB Hub is what you are after. I used a powered one for a while with ext HDD and Humax dongle.
Example, although not the one I used:

ModeratorBut we know the T2 units are not supported via the app store as yet, no idea why they have posted that.

If the BT T1000 is a DTR T1000
Simple answer is no I’m afraid.

ModeratorIndeed, you appear to have tried all that could be asked of you.
Dongle appears to work in PC so that rules out a duff one as I have with the UAN variant, other equipment located in same area connecting successfully, wirelessly..
Time to contact retailer and arrange a swap out perhaps?
Barry
ModeratorTrevor cannot say anymore then I already have for the time being.
As for your good spot re email address, highlighted up the chain to Humax Towers on the first day you mentioned it.
