I am a bit mystified as to why no-one on this website seems to have picked up on this week’s announcement that opera technology is to be launched on new Humax boxes this year.
1. We already covered it in an obligue way with the news of the updated portal to the T2 series.
2. Other info cannot be released publically at the moment as it is subject to change – do not want to build hopes up only for them to be dashed later.

I think Youview have repeated what they did last time.
Allow 2000 odd to download, then remove the update from the server whilst they gauge feedback/reaction.

Further testing by members has revealed that if timer is not within approx 2 hrs 30 mins of power on timer then it will still fail.

You could use start padding, downside is though this will stop the timer at the billed time, so if programme overran you would miss the end.

Whilst there have been reports of iplayer problems, I do not remember your specific issue being reported. I do not have any issues with iplayer streaming.
Instead of ‘pulling the power’ try this FAQ paying particular attention to the text in bold.

I just lock everything I might want to keep, although other PVR’s are used in preference to this one anyway.
Ray – I agree with Graham, sounds like a duff unit.
