No plans for a user ‘manual’ as far as I am aware.

Tried to replicate over the last couple of hours without success.
Pressing skip button continually, or a few presses one after the other, HD and SD recordings, different channels, nothing instigates the problem for me.

Strange report to be honest, things to try:
1. Turn the volume on the HDR remote up to max, and then use the tv remote to adjust level.
2. Audio description inadvertently turned on? – Press the bottom right button on HDR remote and check the on screen message.

If you have the original box, just put the unit, and only the unit in that in readiness, unless advised otherwise.

Nothing that I can share at this time.
Update is planned and whilst I have an idea of when, will wait for more definitive news before releasing.
Folders are generated automatically for series record timers, no manual folder option is available.
No interest in the YV community forum, waste of time, so have not looked for post in question.
However have listened to the BBC HD promo loop twice and cannot hear this ‘crackling’ at all.
The glitching prior to latest update was easily spotted if as stated in post #4 the audio test was monitored.
The latest reports are described as ‘crackling’ and as yet I have not heard this at all on the audio test or 5.1 programmes.

This regular ‘glitching’ you will find only affects programmes with surround audio (easy test to witness was to record the audio test carried on BBC HD)
It is fixed in the latest update.
