Yes, that’s the one. Is the ‘My schedule’ the part that has not been release yet?

    All of it basically.

Remote booking software has not been released as yet.

Just tried that but I can only key in 258 then it says no such channel.

Does it need to be keyed in on a specific page?

For future reference – ignore what it states on screen just key in the code, then wait for now/next banner to appear/disappear.

Series record timers: Are automatically stored in folders generated by the unit.

One shot timers: You can manually create a folder and move them.

Deep breath, then take one thing at a time, try

    1. Power on TV first then Humax if no success try

    2. Humax first the TV, if no success try

    3. Scart connection to try and get everything back to a working config then

4, Reconnect HDMI and cycle through resolutions using the vformat button see if you can find one that works.

5, Check Samsung website see if there is an update for your model of TV?

Hide channels removes them from the EPG list.

No padding options available on Youview, and never likely to be, also no manual timers, no edit timers.

As per Martin, I would go for the HDR T2.

    Welcome to the Forum :-)

There is a fixed skip function of 60 secs forward 30 secs back using the |<< >>| keys. Also you can hide channels via Guide, not very user friendly but the option is there.

    Latest software version:

    Manufacturer Software: 12.7.10

    Component Software: 1.4.10

    Platform configuration: 451

    ISP Configuration: (varies by ISP)

You can check these via Youview, Settings, System Information, Software versions.

    Welcome to the Forum George:-)

No custom firmware, however your versions are not the latest, they are:

    Manufacturer Software: 12.7.10

    Component Software: 1.4.10

    Platform configuration: 451

    ISP Configuration: (varies by ISP)

The roleout is phased as usual so that is why you might not have it yet.

    Welcome to the Forum :-)

I would start with the factory reset, this will not affect recordings already saved to HDD, but will delete recording schedule, and reset any other user settings you have changed.

If you are unsure then it is best to advise not attempting any repair to be honest.

If the unit has not been moved recently then it is not likely to be the connections, however….

Try a mains power on/off first see if that fixes the problem, if not then:

    1. Disconnect from mains power

    2. Remove the lid – 3 screws on rear and one each side of unit.

    3. HDD will be obvious, looking from front of unit it is located to the front left and has 2 connectors.
